My Story
I am a metro-Detroit native who began my career in politics with the Michigan House Democratic Caucus, where I served as Digital Director and played a key role in enhancing the social media presence of Michigan’s top policymakers. After my time working in the Michigan State Legislature, I spent nine years in various roles in Washington, D.C., starting as the Deputy Digital Director for U.S. Senate Democratic Chuck Schumer and later the Spokesperson and Director of African American Media.
This impactful tenure in the Senate led me to serve as Spokesperson and National Director of African American Media for President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris during the historic 2024 presidential election. With my extensive experience in strategic communications, public engagement, and advocacy, along with strong relationships at both national and local levels, I am well-equipped to deliver exceptional results for OAG clients.
In addition to my professional journey, I hold two degrees from Central Michigan University: Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Political Science and a Master of Arts in Political Science, which have deepened my understanding of the political landscape. I am also a single mother who enjoys dedicating my free time to creating meaningful experiences for my daughter.
